The Rafter G Ranch is so awesome!   I love that there are so many animals.  There are turkeys, possums, raccoons, deer, porcupines, armadillos, coyotes, snakes, foxes, birds, and squirrels.  Grandpa tells us not to annoy the snakes and if we see one get away.   Dad says that I will get to probably get to start hunting in two years. At night we get to go out and do deer surveys to see how many deer we have.  We drive around in the Polaris and use spotlights to try to find the deer.

The canyon is really cool too.  I like how there are cliffs that we can climb and a stream with frogs that we like to try to catch.  There are also many places we can build forts and tree houses. The rattlesnakes live in the rocks in the canyon.

Grandpa just bought some new land to make the ranch bigger.  It has an Indian Mound and we can find arrow heads.  There is a creek that is very pretty.  The cliffs there are really, really big.  We named the biggest cliff the Observatory.  We put chairs up there so we can sit and look for deer and watch the sunset.  Me, Jack, and Morgan like to climb down the cliff and then climb back up.  I also like to shoot my sling shot off the top of the Observatory.

There are two blinds on the ranch and they are called the Alamo and the Ranger.  There is also a windmill.

I am so glad Grandpa bought the ranch.  I love to go there!!!
