All of our whitetail, exotic deer and sheep are free roaming animals. These animals were born and raised in the wild. Since our ranch is under game fence, our animals have the ability to establish territories. None of our deer are pen raised or hunted in small sections. In other words, this hunt is in the true sense of the word, “fair chase.”  The Rafter G Ranch has been enrolled in a TPWD approved Managed Land Deer Program since 2010. Quality Deer Management Practices; harvesting Does, seasonal food plots, year round protein feeding, aging, & selective harvest allow for optimum animal management.
